It’s that time of the year again! Everyone loves going camping and this year we will be joining with other CFAM (Canadian Filipino Alliance Ministries) Churches for our Summer Family Camp at Camp Hope in Hope, BC.

Instead of meeting at our church building, we will be meeting at Centennial Park for our worship service and baptism. We will sing, listen to the word, celebrate those who will be baptized, have fellowship over food, and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation.
Bring a dish to share, a chair, and some activities to do with others on this day!

Our Discipleship Class is a 3-week journey through what it means to be a disciple in the context of being part of our FVA Church family. Through this journey, we provide clear direction for those who want to get baptized, join a cell group, and become members of our church family. Through our Discipleship Class, we learn about how God has gifted each of us to love and serve others in unique ways.

Our Sunday morning worship service will be at camp hope at 10:00am and there will be no service at our church building in North Delta.
REMINDERS
1. This is a Green Camp. Please use the following: washable plate, cutlery, refillable water bottle-- a cold water dispenser will be provided. PLEASE DO NOT BRING PLASTIC BOTTLED WATER.
2. Please make sure that all our Worship songs and schedule are downloaded (phones or gadgets). There will be no paper printed. WE WILL SEND IT ALL BY WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 9.
3. We will SHARE LUNCH AS ONE FAMILY on SUNDAY, AUGUST 13.
4. There will be POOR or most of the time NO wifi or internet connection at the campsite.

It might make you a better father. At least, that's the Kendricks' goal. Show Me the Father includes tragic stories of fatherhood as well as plenty of inspiring ones, allowing the viewer to see what happens when a child is raised in a bad home – and what happens when a child is reared in a good one. The film combines those stories with biblical truths about the Fatherhood of God.
